Generations of war and Genocide lead to division and tension between alike species. For the creatures on the moor, it's revenge and then be killed. For those who are gifted enough luck in their lives to live amongst the people of the kingdom its Murder and then spoils.

Many kings and queens have lived out their lives in a constant loop of mass war against the moors. As predicted, the kingdom wins every time, gaining more and more resources as the creatures who are merely defending their home are left with bare bones and blood.

Things took a change however When the late king Hyunmin passed a royal decree against any further war between the people of the kingdom and those of the forest. His decree was only one of many surprises that shocked the nation. The only child the king had was not the blood son of the reigning queen. He refused to produce another heir, leaving the queen politically useless as a member of the royal family.

Just when matters were reaching dethronement, King Hyunmin died unexpectedly during the night. This meant that his son Prince Jisung would have to shadow his stepmother as she ruled the country in order for him to learn how to take his father's place.

This is where the story begins with a young man who knows nothing of what's beyond the palace walls, and turns to his own exploration and discoveries for company. Being told what to do 24/7 he obeyes and provides without much thought of weather or not the choices he made were truly his.

His life had started without him the day his father passed, but he finally started living it once he was sent out on a hunt and found himself lost in the middle of the moors.

A spiral of events fuled by the discovery of a cautious stranger lead him to question the life he's been living thus far.
