{PART 1 OF AN ONGOING SERIES}

Life has its struggles, especially when one is born different from everyone else on the planet. Nova Susan Song is no ordinary teenage girl from Earth. In fact, she is not from Earth at all. She possesses these 'abilities' that she does not know the origins of, such as a high IQ that is much greater than any of her peers and to be able to make her skin glow gold and heal any injury at will, but her adoptive human parents urge her to keep these 'powers' secret from anyone she meets, including her best friend. With no clue as to why, Nova spends most of her life researching where her abilities originally came from and concludes that they must have come from her biological parents, who had given her up for adoption when she was just a few days old to be protected from a danger she does not understand--a danger known as the Vokanari, a.k.a. The Silence.

And they want her to be their next weapon against her own father, the Doctor.

When her best friend and human guardians are kidnapped, Nova joins her biological parents through Time and Space to find them and, along the way, learns the true meaning and responsibilities of being a Time Lord.

His wife, River Song, would have thought that her husband would be happy to have the chance of being a father again after many centuries of being alone, and his wife would finally have the chance of being a mother, which was a privilege her parents never had because of the events on Demons Run. When the Doctor starts to sense "abnormalities" with his and his wife's unborn daughter's health, he immediately decides to take action, and scans prove that his child may be more special than he and River had originally thought. When River is kidnapped, the Doctor never expects things to become so personal until that moment. Will he be willing to risk everything, including River Song's life and the lives of his closest friends, to save his daughter and prevent her from suffering the exact same fate as her mother? And if the rescue proves successful, will he be willing to give his daughter up in order to keep her safe from anyone who tries to take advantage of her? These could very well be the greatest and most complicated questions of the Doctor's many lives, and only his fatherly instincts can guide him to make the correct choices. --------------------------------------- Based on the BBC television show, Doctor Who. Nova is quickly sorted into Hufflepuff, starting later than most in her fourth year but she settles in well, clicking straight away with the likes of Harry Potter, Cedric Diggory and Magnolia Shore-her over enthusiastic quidditch obsessed dorm mate who's irredeemable in love with Ravenclaw's brightest and sharpest student by all means, Regina Lovegood. As Nova navigates her way around magic, bubbling friendships and trying to keep her secrets hidden, someone else starts to catch her eye. A mysterious, slightly mischievous boy from Slytherin, with a sharp tongue and unforgiving stare. Mattheo Riddle tries to keep to himself, being the son of two of the most infamous wizards comes with a bit of a reputation. It doesn't matter to anyone else that he'd never even met his parents and was brought up alongside his cousin Draco Malfoy. In everyone's eyes, Mattheo is destined to become just like his father, everyone's eyes, but Nova's. She can see something in the boy that he can't even see himself. - So this fic while centering around the golden trio era-and snippets of the Slytherin boys with my own twist on them ofc-is just as much a Marauders fic too. ✨
