She boards the train alone, heading back to college after the holidays, expecting nothing but a quiet ride. But then, he walks in.
Hoodie up. Mask on. Head low.
Trying to stay hidden.
But she knows. God, she knows.
She's admired him for years. His posture, his presence, the way he carries silence like poetry. He doesn't have to speak. She's already recognized him.
Yet, she says nothing.
Instead, she smiles and leans in with a soft, "A Small Talk?"
He hesitates... then nods.
And just like that, two strangers share stolen glances, soft laughter, and quiet touches through shared coffee and conversation. She flirts gently, bold in her calm, teasing without revealing the truth... that she's already his, and he doesn't even know it yet.
He's drawn in, slowly. She's already falling.

"Get out," I whispered again, looking into his deep brown eyes. His brows furrowed. "I can't leave you in this condition." A lone tear slipped from my eye. "You're the only person responsible for this condition." He swallowed hard and lay down beside me. "I said-" I tried to get up, but he grabbed my wrist and pulled me into his embrace again. His arms wrapped tightly around me. I stopped struggling. His warmth, his scent... after four years, I finally felt at peace. My face was buried in his chest. "Why aren't you leaving me?" I whispered. He looked down, his gaze intense. "Because I can't," he admitted. "I'm not able to."
