Lucy White and Niall Horan were best friends growing up in Mullingar, Ireland. Lucy moved away when they were 7. They were born on the same day and their fathers were best friends. The marriage of Lucy's mother and step-father changed everything. Robert, her step-father, was originally from New York and had a house that was vacant because he moved to Ireland for business. When he has to move  back Lucy has to leave her best friend behind. 
11 years have passed, Niall is in the band One Direction, and Lucy is a part time worker and graduated high school in May of that year. 
Niall and the boys have come to New York to play at Madison Square Garden.
