When it comes to such misery, however, none know this bitter feeling better than Alex Ripley. All it took was one selfless act to tarnish his reputation. One kindness that stole his future, and eventually lead to him meeting his end.
Instead of closing his eyes for a final time, he found himself reincarnated in a new, fantastical world none the worse for wear. There was one small difference, however... Alex was no longer a man, but a woman instead. With this second chance, will the lessons from her last life dictate the path she walks? Or will she discover things about herself and this brave new world she never thought to imagine?

There are some harsh themes, since this is meant to be a harsh world. Some themes touch upon the MC directly, the others happen to secondary characters. I try not to go into too graphic of detail and I believe that this story is 16+ friendly.
