When Sam is transported into a world with monsters and magic, she doesn't expect to be saved by three handsome strangers. Julien, calm and collected, and always willing to help. Hayden, who's snarky but has a heart of gold. And quiet, mysterious Simón, who can move like the wind.

Not only does Sam find out that these three are monster hunters, she also learns that she's been marked as a threat to mankind. When she's taken to the Guild of Monster Hunters in order to keep herself away from the rest of the population, Sam realizes that there's much more for her in store, and being kept under the protection of the three boys that saved her has its perks.

But the mysterious leader of the guild seems to have other plans for Sam, ones that could break the world if Sam doesn't figure out how to get back home soon enough.
