Escaping The Parable
This story is written to represent an entirely platonic relationship but I suppose you can interpret it however you want. You take the place of Stanley, and after four years you start to realize different ways you can communicate with the narrator. It starts with body language, than gestures, than written, and your beginning to realize maybe you and The Narrator can get along, and maybe even escape. Stanley and The Narrator, a pair never made to last. Creator and creation. "Let's go back just once and give Stanley one more run of the office, Then I'll retire him for good." Stanley found himself desperately attempting to extend this last run of his as much as he could but ultimately couldn't escape from the end after all. The end of the parable and the end of his life chased him relentlessly. And he was going to run out of breath. He awoke one day to sand and sky and the sun gliding over him. ---------------------- This is not going to include any romance, (unless you look closely ig) BUT hear me out, this is an emotional rollercoaster through the path I'm pretty sure most players go through.
