Every Hunger Games was the same, 2 tributes were chosen from the 12 Districts and traveled to the Capitol, a parade to show off each District duo would occur followed by 3 days of general training, with private training on the last day, on the fourth-day training interviews would occur where the tributes would be given a score that would be televised for all of Panem to see, only for interviews with Caesar Flickerman to happen the following evening.

And that would be their last night in luxury and peace before they were thrust into the Arena of that year for whatever duration, until only one sole Victor emerged from it, undoubtedly, scarred, bruised, bloody and traumatised for life, only to give another interview and go on a Panem Winner's Tour before being moved to the Victor's Village of their District.

And the 66th Hunger Games were no different, with the small exception that the female tribute from District 9, Hestia Jade Meadowes, was famous and a household name, there wasn't anyone in the entirety of Panem that didn't know her, and after those who didn't know who she was, would most certainly know her by the end of those games.

𝖔𝖗 𝖎𝖓 𝖜𝖍𝖎𝖈𝖍

Hestia Jade Meadowes is reaped for the 66th Hunger Games and instantly gathers more than enough media attention and popularity just by breathing, however by the end of nearly a week and a half her name is uttered for a completely different reason.
