If blood is thicker than water, then how thin is it possible to make it? Because I was exiled from my home at the age of nine for being little more than a well read killer and honestly? To this day, at seven and a half centuries, give or take a decade, I can agree with the judgement they put upon me.
I just never did much to exceed that expectation, only seal it in stone and carry it like the eternal stone of Sisyphus. Dick of a guy, by the way.

Now thirteen years later Daisy sits in Margaret's basement just barely holding on to life, so when her mother and her stepfather get arrested Daisy is saved. That very day James gets a call saying his baby is in the hospital and needs a new guardian. Immediately accepting the offer he heads to the hospital to see his sister. Now that Daisy is found the five King brothers will do anything to protect their little sister. This story is about bonds, happiness, and freedom. 'Blood runs thicker than water' they say. Those who you share the same blood as - you know your family - are meant to be more important than those who don't. But it's ironic really, the way the saying got messed up over time until it means the complete opposite. The full saying is 'The blood of the covenant is thicker than the water of the womb'. That the blood from the bonds you share with your chosen family are thicker than the water from the covalent womb you share with your blood relations. Going from a family of 8 to 1 was a challenge for Amelia, but what happens when her 5 brothers try showing back up? Pain
Pain. It's all different for everyone. We all have our own tolerance, and our own versions of it to deal with. So if you consider it, my pain isn't all that important.
