Night has fallen. Silence is heard. The whole world is asleep. The Kingdom is silent. Except for one person. Who was awake the whole night, watching and listening to the silence. The people had rumors about him. They never saw his face but except his body and story. The story about him being a strange assassin and how he was good at hiding. How he was too intelligent. Nobody knew his name so they just called him "The Unknown Assassin". He stares and keeps an eye open for bad things to happen and stop it from happening. But one day, the Prince was forced to marry a stranger. A princess whom he despised because of the horrible tragedy that had happened because of her. "The world around her swam with mottled light. How long had she been fighting?" So...in sixth grade we took this computer-skills class. Our final test was to write a short story in Microsoft Word. My story ended up fleshing out into the trilogy I am working on and planning to publish at somepoint in my life, but I realized how incredible my writing skill has improved between just the two or three years.
