Life isn't fair, and nobody know that better than me. I'm Amy Sailife and this is my story.
It all started when we got word that someone had seen us, and it wasn't somebody from Nevada, it was from within The Society, now this should never have had happened, but it did, I know it did because I was there, I saw her staring at our city as though she never knew that we existed, but our leader, Marian Thomson had an agreement with their leader Kate that they would acknowledge our existence, and be kind without invading and starting a war like so many before her had done.
Nothing is perfect. Nothing will ever be perfect. Nothing can prevent this upcoming war. Nothing.

I've dreamed of the perfect marriage ever since I was a little girl: a marriage complete with a hardworking husband while I tended to the home and our children, preferably four little rugrats to call my own. I dreamed of a life filled with laughter, joy, and success, a life we built together. I dreamed of growing old next to my husband, creating a great love story to tell our grandchildren someday. It all seemed so possible. I was raised to be the perfect wife, after all. From the outside, it seemed I had exactly what I dreamed of with the rich, determined husband; the brilliant, gaudy diamond ring; and the beautiful home filled with the hope of future children. Yes, it was all a dream come true. I should have felt grateful, really. The problem is, I also wanted a marriage based on love, passion, and affection, but those are the only things my husband cannot give me . . . . . . because they're reserved for her. "Why Nora? Why did you leave?" He asked. "Why did you disappear with no goodbye or see you later, or even a note explaining everything or even a phone call from you once you got to where you left to?" I didn't answer right away. I didn't know how to explain this to him, and having his new friends around made it all the harder. I knew I had to think carefully about my answer, so I wouldn't give too much away. Just like some things were better left unsaid, there were also those things that could only be said at the right moment, so as not to ruin everything. I had to choose my words carefully and be sure to not get angry like he was trying to make me. I hate to admit it, but he still knew me better than I knew myself. And that meant that he knew that if he angered me enough, everything I was hiding would come spilling out. And that...that couldn't happen. Because if it did...If that did happen...well...He would regret his actions more than anything else he had ever done or could ever do, and it would also likely end our friendship...or what was left of it anyway. And that was the one thing I just couldn't let happen. Right before her 6th birthday, Nora was forced to move. When she was 12 she got her first phone. When she was 16, she moved back. But through it all, the hardest part, was definitely loosing her best friend. So when she gets the chance to get him back, of course she tried. But repairing their broken friendship is proving much harder than she thought it would be.

Xavier furrows his eyebrows in pain. A tear of his own falling down his face. "No," he says shaking his head. "No. You've never been a bother to me. You aren't weak. And you most certainly aren't worthless." I gasp to breathe, and he continues talking. "What you are is an amazing person who hasn't let all of this crazy bullshit affect her. You handled it like a champ. What you are is a strong, brave being that has stood by my side." I breathe as he leans closer. "What you are, is the love of my life...."

She hated them. They loved her with everything in them. The universe truly has a sick way of telling you it's there, doesn't it? From being kidnapped to being abused, that was all Arabella saw in life. It was all she ever knew. They tell you to keep fighting but sometimes you realize... you were just a child. Now she's built herself up using her pain as the next step to her strength. She's learnt how to strive forward even as her past haunts her mind crawling up her back every passing second. That is until the first 7 people who only ever brought her pain find their way back into her life. She has no way to let go of her past when they come right back to her. The world showed her no mercy in it's ways so why should she. ~~~ I let out a small sigh wanting more of this. I wanted to be held like this whenever I felt broken. Feel the way he puts me back together in his arms. It ate at my heart and I could have sworn I felt a feathery kiss on my head. It was as if he could hear my thoughts and was kissing them away for me. Slowly he lets one hand go, the other staying around me as he brings my chin up to him gently wiping my last tears as more fill my eyes. He sees this and his eyes look... crumbled. If you feel this way then why can't you choose me, Dominic. I shake my head from his hands wishing to step back but he pulls me back to him a pain filled groan leaving him. "Just one more minute. Please." His body shook and I brought him closer, feeling our pain become one. Our hurricanes of minds pull away even for the smallest time letting us stand together as one in each other's embrace. He was it for me. But I wasn't his.
