Leonardo, Raphael, Donatello, and Michaelangelo are getting older, and Donatello's legs don't work anymore. But the Krang and Foot Clan are still at large, despite being defeated many times. And as they get older, it gets harder to fight. And one faithful day, they find five orphan mutant turtles and take them in. The orphans then see the four turtle brothers' collection of ninja items, and then they want to become ninjas just like them. So the four turtle brothers help them. In this adventure-filled series, the new generation of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles fights a new generation of villains, Krang, and Shredder's daughter, Karai, and her daughter and son. But Karai's daughter joins the turtles against her mother, after knowing what her true plan was. Will the new generation of turtles and Karai's daughter work together to defeat the Foot Clan and the Krang, or will the Foot Clan or Krang reign over all of New York?

The legend of Shredder and foot clan turned out to be real but there could be hope. The last hope of defence is young mutant turtle, who's life just changed, and not for the better. (Better story inside.) This is AU story. There mutants and humans live together but the relationship between them isn't the best. Leonardo is painted turtle. Raphael is red eared slider. Donatello is razorback musk turtle. Michelangelo is chinese softshell turtle. I write warning here so it won't be a shock: turtles aren't truly brothers and Splinter is only a sensei. It is just "what if" thing. Raph and Leo are step brothers and the story focuses on those two as they deal with family drama. Maria Sanava is a country girl, but unlike her parents, she isn't interested in working on an apple farm her whole life. She wants to do something that makes a mark on the world. (Zootopia anyone?) All her life she has been involved in extracurriculars, top of her classes in everything. She took art, english, math, science, forensic science, physics, philosophy, history, and even a few martial arts. But she couldn't ever figure out what it was that she wanted to do. But that would change when she accompanied her parents and little brother on a trip to New York for a large shipment of apples and a business offer for her parents. The two week trip gets turned around when she meets Leonardo and his family, who just can't figure out what the foot clan is doing, chasing after some random apple girl from the country. Turns out, being good at everything has it's downsides, but this trip is going to change Leo and Maria's view of the world forever.
