Target's grandma passes away a year or two after the war on Hogwarts. With no other family and Target only being a year shy from being able to live on his own he's thrown into the foster system. Only to be adopted by another pureblooded family that looks like they come from more money than Target cares to handle.

Techno still has a bitter relationship with his parents, and the thought of Target still haunts his mind every so often. His parents tell him that they're adopting a new pureblood child so he will have a sibling. Something about making the family look good or whatever.
