Archimedes Ongpauco III did not expect himself to venture into politics. He came from a well-known and powerful political clan and deep inside, he knew it was a possibility, no matter how absurd the idea was given his character. He loves his family, alright, but he just wants to stay out of that narrative because he knows how politics in the country can get so bad and dirty.

Abigail Lauren Villadiego is a smart, straight-forward, no-bullshit-type of woman. She hails from an emerging political clan that is starting to dominate their small province. Growing up from a family of politicians, she knew how things work. If she were to describe the politics in the country, it would be: bad, blood, and royalty. Her family expects her to follow their footsteps, and well, their whims. They ought to climb in power and remove those in throne, the mighty Ongpaucos. But she did not want any of that. She has other plans.

Fate, too, has other plans for them.
