I'm sure everything will clear up perfectly though, because they're gonna go ice skating together on New Years and no amount of awkward-texting-ness can stop their love! Schlatt's arrogant personality clashes with Quackity's more calm personality, mixed with the stress of running an entire country, they clashed constantly. For the first few months, it was going well, though, after that, Schlatt began getting more and more manipulative, as the power was running to his head. Not only did he think he had power, but he did have power. Quackity being sent through a cycle of emotional trauma, terrified. He's convinced his friends hate him and he's paranoid to reach out. Will he break from the binds of his husband, or will he fall to his death at the hands of his lover? Or even fall by his own hands from suicide? Because what if Sam wasn't dead? What if they had been tricked by a simple hack? What if Scar and Mumbo went missing? What if they were taken? Grian would have to find out the consequences of those 'what if's the hard way. A sequel to "Sam's Back", I suggest reading that first if you haven't already since otherwise this won't make sense. A YHS/Hermitcraft fanfic. Angsty. There's some mild Grumbo shipping but it could just be seen as platonic. Also Scar/Cub shipping, but only really at the very end and you can ignore it if you want. Trigger warnings: death loops, permadeath, Sam being Sam, manipulation, self hatred, torture, general angsty stuff. There's a happy ending though!
