Where does such foolish wander aimlessly wait but beyond unopened gate
There are idle hopes lost within endless chatter are never heard twice resigned.
Left but within emptiness to forever search so unguided path where we forever wait.
For an answer we never find but within the hall of echoes we call our foolish mind
Daily we awake searching for hopes or elusive dreams well beyond our reach.
Within tabernacle of evasive wishes leaving us with empty taste or life incomplete
Nevertheless, hoping within each new sunrise blinding us to what will never be
That where our endless hopes may lead us we will only be able to look back emptily
