Hayley has a dream. Working on a ranch and perhaps even having one someday. Her dreams are answered when she finds a job opportunity miles from home as a ranch hand, but it means starting over. This is a chance for something real and lovely when her life has been anything but. However, when she arrives, a run in with her new boss is less than stellar. Still, Hayley is determined to prove her worth. Something she has never had the chance to do.
Chris has her own ranch and everything is working out as she planned, but the way she obtained her ranch looms over her, creating a darkness in her heart. This job program her second in command has created isn't something she ever really wanted. She feels it may only complicate her life, but still wants to encourage her dear friend. What's more is one of the newcomers seems to be fond of stirring up arguments and Chris is at her wits end.
Chris' life is going somewhat perfectly and Hayley is excited for her fresh start, but neither of them planned on making a connection. That said, somethings are just out of our control.
