There is a rumor in this household. If you are a maid that never gossips, does their job exactly as it should be done, and is always where they need to be, you will be sent to apprentice. Apprentice to several places to know many things. All for free. But all this will be a test. With the last test being an apprentice of one of the best doctors in the country. If you mess up a single thing, you will be sent back to the regular maid job or asked to leave the house. 

Those who pass the test get to live a glorious life. 

They work only a few hours a week, on rotation. Are paid bank. And live like rockstars. But you have to sign a diamond safe quality of a NDA (Non Disclosure Agreement) and never say what you do for a job. No one but the Heir, once announced, or the Master of the house are allowed to know what it is they do. 

They are allowed to leave, of course/ They can retire. Or quit. But the contract stands. No one must know. Ever.

What it is the highest tier of the maids in the household do.
