Moving to Gotham City was supposed to be the start of a new chapter for Holly Gordon, but soon she realizes there's no such thing as living a normal life in the big city. As the daughter of the new detective at the GCPD, Holly becomes more and more aware of the people around them, realizing that nobody is clean.

One night, while waiting for her father to finish his shift, they get a call about a double homicide in an alleyway. With nobody else to pass the responsibility to, Jim, Holly and Bullock arrive on the scene. But what will happen when Holly meets the sole survivor of the attack, an orphaned billionaire about her age. Will they work together to try to find the man responsible for his parent's death, or will something more form between them?
