The mandatory conscription into the Israeli Defence Forces (IDF) was just as normal to her life as those of her eighteen-year-old classmates. A two-year weapons training course with basic combat skill followed, as did a future career in the field of psychology.
What propelled Shira Kaganov into national prominence ten years later was her position in Malat, the branch of the IDF specialising in psychological warfare.

Winning the support of the local population in controversial wars under Kaganov's operations helped Israel win various key wars against neighbours. But with the status of becoming a high-ranking military psychologist comes the gaze of the enemy, and their wish to procure such an asset.

Being tempted into mercenary operations by the enemy, and a damaged reputation over rumours of unethical psychological conduct-
Dr Shira Kaganov must call upon her skills to combat (perhaps literally) a series of challenges that confront her.
