Lucy is absolutely smitten with Mallory, and when she wakes up from their perfect night together, she sees the empty bed. Heartbroken, she continues playing hockey, but she can't get her mystery girl out of her head. After a few weeks go by and Mallory transfers to Wood Springs to be closer to her friends, and is forced to practice with Lucy. With two star players in their respective sports both struggling, practicing together seems like the perfect solution.
