Advita Rathore is a queen-literally. As the crowned heiress of Chhattisgarh, she rules her business empire and her life with a no-nonsense attitude... until her family drops the bombshell: an arranged marriage proposal. To him. The guy she spent years crushing on in college, who probably didn't even know she existed.
Rudransh Arora is an excellent CEO with an eye for details-except, apparently, the detail that he was crushing on Advita back in college too. Now, years later, when his mother introduces her as his potential fiancée, he's as stunned as he is intrigued. Who knew he'd be reintroduced to the one that got away... only to discover she's also a modern-day queen with enough sass and sarcasm to rival his own?
Thrown together by family meddling and a twist of fate, Advita and Rudransh have to navigate one very awkward reunion, a whole lot of cultural differences, and some seriously pent-up feelings from their "totally secret" past crushes. Can they survive family dinners, hidden matchmaking schemes, and their own clashing personalities? Or will they discover that sometimes, love is about finding someone who's just the right amount of wrong for you?
One arranged marriage. Two former crushes. And a whole lot of sparks they're both pretending not to feel.
The rain drenched me, making my clothes cling to me like a second skin. My dark hair lay motionless, resting against me, tempting Eden even more. You could very clearly see my red bra through my now transparent shirt. I watched as desire shone in Eden's eyes. He looked me up and down, his heated gaze lingering on my chest. He took predatory steps towards me, his eyes never leaving my lips. I stood there, frozen. I knew what he wanted to do but still I stood there. It was just a kiss right? Wasn't going to hurt anyone. Plus I wanted this. I waited in anticipation, wetting my lips as he cocked his head and wrapped his arms around my waist, pulling me towards him. He leaned in and I closed my eyes. But before his lips could touch mine an angry shout made us jump apart.
"SANGAVI!!!" bellowed an angry voice. On recognizing that voice, my head whipped towards him in shock as I stared at his deadly figure which shook violently. Oh god! He was mad. No scratch that he was ferocious. His eyes were bloodshot and his arms were balled into a fist. To say I was scared would be an understatement. I was petrified.......
But my only question is "What the hell is his problem?"
