Everyone, no matter who they are has the power to stop bullying. Standing up for someone, although daunting, can make such a big difference. I've learned from experience that sometimes no matter what anyone does the bullying just keeps going, but having someone who'll stand by you helps in getting through it. Another thing is, words do actually hurt because they stay with you, but as a friend once told me ‘like water off a duck’s back’, basically forgive and take the high road. Use your experiences to grow stronger.
