(Novelisation of intro to FNV, I write these novelisations of scenes from games or shows as a way to challenge my writing skills and practice using other types of characters, setting, and tone. New Vegas Life
A mother takes the kids before the father can, seeing that he is going down a dark slop, and returns to Caesar's, her father's, legion BEGGING him for protection. In order to keep all the children safe the mother offers herself to her husband to be experimented on, claiming to make sure whatever serum he made was safe for the children. She ends up dying due to this but writes a letter to her eldest, explaining what all is happening. The mother plans to kill her husband before he can try anything else. The mother does succeed in killing her husband but does die soon after returning to the Legion. The four children grow up in Caesar's legion and this is their story.
