It is the year 2089, difficult times are upon the city of Chantel. This city was built from the rubble of the Great War of Lords in 2070. Government is still being established. Population is low and they need to produce more children which equal more workers. Therefore the 'Law of Producers' was passed. At the age of 19, everyone will be given a partner to produce children. Amelia's 19 birthday is coming up and she is not looking forward  to being sold off like a prostitute. However the boy she is partnered with may change her life. Alexander Chantel is the son of the founder of Chantel, Christian Chantel. This wealthy family can provide Amelia's family with everything they want. But maybe, just maybe, other than a forced relationship, Amelia can learn to love the arrogant, annoying, snobby, rich boy, Alexander Chantel.
