In the podunk parish of West Orston, Louisiana, three high schools exist uneventfully with students who know little about their own culture, let alone the culture of others. When the school board begins to accept foreign exchange students for the first time in years, a group of six foreign teenagers are now part of West Orston. Their arrival incites more drama than ever anticipated as the six create their own lives while thousands of miles away from home. Friendships are made and broken, love and betrayal go hand-in-hand, and secrets are uncovered at every turn. Inspired by a true story.

The Truth Between Us

4 parts Ongoing Mature

This isn't a love story. Not really. It's a story about secrets - the kind that rot from the inside out. About teenagers growing up too fast, in a world that's way too good at pretending. At the center of it all is Chloe, or "Bubbles" as she's sometimes called - sharp-tongued, observant, and far more entangled in the lives around her than she ever intended to be. Told through multiple points of view, this novel unfolds in fragments - messy, raw, and real. From betrayal to blackmail, buried trauma to teenage obsession, each chapter pulls you deeper into a web that's been years in the making. There are relationships. There's heartbreak. But don't get it twisted - this isn't about falling in love. It's about falling apart.
