When Jade wells is killed unexpectedly in the school parking lot, her once living life slowly falls into a dark downward spiral of the now dead. Stuck in the in-between of both the dead and living. Jade learns to adapt and except her fate, making friends with her fellow dead students and not so trustworthy teacher. The mystery of who killed her that night lingers in her brain, and the idea of never truly getting to live stung forever at her throat. But even though Jade wells was dead, meeting someone unexpectedly in the afterlife seemed to be the only thing that ever made her feel alive.
