A short story following the book Footsteps of Giants. In the beginning, Earth was nothing more than a desolate rock drifting through the cosmos, until seven elemental dragons emerged from the depths of the universe. Each dragon, representing fire, water, earth, air, ice, light, and the golden essence of creation itself, shaped the world in harmony. Together, they forged mountains, seas, skies, and glaciers, preparing the Earth for life. But as their work neared completion, the planet's transformation reached a crescendo, culminating in a blinding flash of golden light. In the end, only stillness and darkness remained, leaving behind the silent testament of their creation.

This particular story, like all stories do, started at the beginning of all things. It's introduction was long and rambling, for it took many ice ages before the main players could make any sense of it. This story started in the wild fury of a new world. It started with dinosaurs. Millions of years later fate adds in a scheming wife, a desperate verging-on-mad scientist, a do-gooding hippie and a small dog. What could go wrong?

Earth was created. Animals and humans lived in harmony, no fear among them. Day fill of warm and light, and life was lived. Night brought cold and dark, and human and animals hid in fear. From folktales and legends around the world, stories that tell how FIRE became available to the humans splitting the harmony between them and the animals.
