"There goes Sally and Lightning McQueen again," Mater silently mumbled to himself. It had been so many years now since Sally and Lightning McQueen got together. Mater never really believed he would get over it, no matter how much he tried convincing himself of that.

Mater had fallen in love with Lightning McQueen since the moment they'd met. He was unable to get McQueen out of his head. Mater always kept his feelings to himself, he didn't want to ruin his friendship with Lightning McQueen. Lightning McQueen was in love with Sally Carrera, and there was nothing a car like Tow Mater could do. What Mater didn't know, was just how important he was to Lightning McQueen. Are the two lovers destined to never be?  With Mater keeping a deadly secret to himself and dealing with his feelings in the dark, what will McQueen do when faced with the truth? Creating the second movie with humans will be a difficult challenge but this is connected with the first book, instead of McQueen and the reader getting closer like in the first one, this story is about the reader's relationship with her father. I'm not telling you who he is, you'll have to figure out that yourself until the chapter comes out. Which I hope won't be long. I've been taking notes on the key details in the movies that are helpful and have done research on things that might have the movie if they were humans, the words in the story maybe different but it's still the same thing. Both Lightning McQueen and the reader are now 23 and 22 years old. The movie takes four years later after the first movie.
