A short story I wrote as part of a transfer application into the Tisch School of the Arts. It's something I wrote a while ago and now that it's time for submission, I'm not sure how good it is anymore.
It's "no more than six pages of creative writing consisting of a complete short story". That's the prompt. Plenty to go on, right?

Creative Writing: Stories & Poems
Okay, so for my senior year, I took a creative writing class as an elective. Mostly because I didn't have a sixth or seventh period and I wanted to give it a try. Not only did it have Creative Writing with making different stories, for the second half of the school year the class goes into making poems and crap like that. Making a book on Wattpad about this was my idea alone because I want to share what I came up with. This will include what I wrote down according to the writing prompt given, along with the poems that I made. This book will not last long as this is just to show off what I came up with in that one class, but still, stories are meant to be shared plus its a different kind of creativity. 🎀𝐀 𝐆𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐆𝐢𝐫𝐥'𝐬 𝐒𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲🎀 16+ (𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐭𝐞𝐝)(undergoing a makeover lol) 𝐋𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐮𝐫𝐚 𝐖𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐚𝐦𝐬 is a struggling artist with dpd, just trying to get her art work noticed. When all things fail, she decides to go to a party her friend invited her to, hoping to let loose and forget all her problems, but what she didn't know was that this was a typical frat party, meaning Liliura was going to have to be extra careful. At least she tried...until she decided to take a drink from a random guy. She blacked out only to wake up in a holding cell. It didn't help that she didn't remember anything that happened at the party or that the tattooed Greek god sitting next to her invaded every thought in her mind. -𐀔- "Do you by any chance have 50,000 dollars?" I looked at her with a raised eyebrow. Why would a girl like her need that much money? It must have something to do with why she was in the holding cell. When she noticed I didn't answer her eyes shined with nervousness. Usually I'd like to see the uneasiness in people but, on her, I'm not so sure I like it. "Why do you need it?" I said, causing her eyes to widen as she quickly averted her eyes to anything else but me. "Well, I might have destroyed a very expensive painting and I kind of need to pay the people back-and before you say anything, it wasn't my fault, it was drunk me fault." I let out a sigh and ran my hand through my hair. Thirteen short stories I submitted as entries into the "Twelve Prompts of Christmas" contest, created by Carol Ann Shaw (@WriterOnTheIsland). Each of these stories is based on real-life events. Several of them are plain-old non-fiction. Can you guess which ones? The rest of them tell the real-life story, but from a different branch of the alternate-Universe tree. Two broken souls in the midst of a crazy world. Two souls running away from their past. There was no light at the end of the tunnel. The tunnel was cracking, slowly closing in. When these two connect, as if they were set on the same path, light creeps in through the cracks, and for or a moment, the tunnel seems to have a way out, but what if it collapses before they make it? - "You saved my life." The words come out as a whisper, I've been dying to say that. I thank god every day that he came into my life when he did. "Fuck Vivian, you don't know how much I needed you." I tear up just a little as he speaks, I don't know the last time I cried happy tears. I bring my hands up to cup his cheeks, resting my forehead against his. "No matter how much I push, I don't mean it. Please don't give up on me." My words seem to relieve him in some way as I feel his shoulders relax. "Even when I'm gone, I'll be by your side, forever." He brings his hand, sticking his pinky out. "pinky promise."I wrap mine around his, placing a kiss on his lips. Warning before you read!! This is my first book! This book will contain topics of SA, eating disorders, and mature content, if any of these things may bother you in anyway, please scroll! I've faced the sexists, the egotistics, the rapists, the catalysts; everyone is an asshole in their own right. Sadly, I'm maxing out on how much more hardship I can take. Griffin Riley used to be my enemy and the cause of my many headaches but now he seems to be my pain medication that takes the aches away. But nothing good can last forever. Maybe we'll be the exception. A girl can hope. But between the stress, high stakes, jealousy, fights, trials, the media, school, life changing scares, and most importantly; Lacrosse, our relationship will be put through the ringer.
