I posted it, captioning it as though it was a gift from my boyfriend. "#Thank_you_my_bf😘" I typed quickly and uploaded the picture to Instagram after I snapped a photo of my coffee and

"I wish I have a boyfriend" I thought to myself. I couldn't help it. I was always a little jealous of my friends, especially whenever we'd hang out. They'd always talk about their love lives, and it felt like I was the only one without a story to share.

But just a few moments later, my thoughts began to shift.
