Imagine finding your one passion in life; it's the thing that keeps you going, the thing that motivates to just simply, breathe. Without it, life is pointless.
Now, imagine losing the capability of ever again experiencing the euphoric feeling that comes with doing what you love.
Were you able to imagine easily? Or rather, have you ever actually experienced this? If so, then you'd easily be able to relate to Daniela Lee.
She felt as if one moment, she had the world in her hands and in the next, everything was snatched cruelly away from her.
She used to love singing. She used to love performing. She adored the sounds she created from a simple strum of the guitar, or from a manic slam of her fingers on the piano. Simply, she adored music.
However, fate is cruel and she realizes that not everyone can keep hold of the elusive strings of their dreams. She has had first hand experience with this.
Follow Daniela as she lives day to day, trying to find a way to hold onto the thing she used to call an obsession, aided by the mysterious boy who, for some reason, can understand her so perfectly.

Loading Game... Building Sceneries... Creating- romance? Parallel. It's a common word. You can probably hear your math teacher screaming that word in a kid's face, can't you? However, that won't be the case here. This is about parallel worlds. For Meredith and Lukas, they didn't find that out so quickly. Bullied and shunned for being the daughter of two famous and quite elite people, the students in Meredith Tanner's high school drove her off the cliff, resulting in therapy sessions once a week. Lukas James was in a different situation. He dropped out of high school (which disappointed his parents) and became a YouTuber, live-streaming games of generation A to Z. The two depressive teenagers didn't expect anything to change. She would continue therapy and never recover from the bullying and screeching suicidal thoughts, remaining as her high school's social outcast. He would continue to disappoint his parents by streaming on YouTube for attention instead of getting an education like his sisters. That's until a game changed their lives. "Parallel". The game was released, becoming #1 on the top gaming charts, which fancied both the teens' interests. Lukas was requested to play this game upon his subscribers. Meredith was requested to play this game in hopes of raising her socialization. However, something behind the game was unlike any level to pass- something dangerous. One game. That's what destiny was betting on. Two individuals. That's what destiny pitched in on. One unfortunate love story. That's what destiny never calculated. ~~~ "Love is a game, Lukas. You're barely making it past Level One! This isn't a labyrinth, stupid. It's a straight hall with different doors, and you keep opening those doors and refuse to walk forward." "I refuse to walk forward..." I repeated in a murmur, hanging my head low. She's right. I keep telling myself I can't go there; it's off limits. But I can see the end of the hall.

Lara has always lived in the shadows, convinced she isn't enough. The world feels overwhelmingly loud, too vivid, and far too big for someone like her. She hides from attention, avoids risks, and sees herself through a lens of self-doubt, her flaws magnified and her worth invisible. Life in the background feels safer, even if it means missing out on connection and joy. When a group project pairs her with Nathan, her confident and charismatic classmate, Lara's carefully guarded world begins to shift. Nathan exudes ease and charm, surrounded by friends whose laughter and effortless connection make her feel even more out of place. Yet, his quiet kindness and surprising attentiveness draw her in, challenging her belief that she doesn't belong. For the first time, Lara begins to wonder if maybe, just maybe, she's not as invisible as she thought. As she spends more time with Nathan and his friends, Lara slowly starts to open up. Their warmth chips away at her defenses, but it also forces her to confront her fears. She struggles with feelings of inadequacy and questions whether she's truly deserving of the attention and affection she's receiving. Her growing feelings for Nathan only intensify this internal conflict-can someone like him really see her as worthy, and more importantly, can she see herself that way? Encouraged by her steadfast best friend Bea and Nathan's quiet support, Lara begins the painful but necessary journey toward self-acceptance. It's a battle fought not against others but within herself. She starts to realize that her worth isn't defined by perfection or others' opinions but by embracing who she truly is. Lara's story is one of identity, courage, and breaking free from self-imposed limitations. It's about stepping out of the shadows and discovering that the hardest battles often lead to the brightest transformations. Will she claim her place in the world or retreat to the safety of the background?
