The Tarnished awoke after being nearly-ended by a Grafted Scion, as usual, but The Tarnished could not control their lust, leading to an, ultimately pointless, relationship. Fia's new champion will go through the rough world of Elden Ring, without a real goal or any aspirations. Without grace, all Tarnished are eventually nothing.

"Arise now, ye Tarnished. Ye dead, who yet live. The call of long-lost grace speaks to us all!" It was a simple, yet grand purpose to those given a second chance by the Light of Grace. To become Elden Lord and claim the Elden Ring. Many would be emboldened by the flame of that ambition, and many more would perish at the hands of those who wished nothing more than to see the Tarnished dead. Such was the way things were in the Lands Between, shattered and fractured to the point of chaos between its residents. Only a select few would be guided by Grace, however only one would truly be gifted with something incredible. A gift that would render the physical well-being of a soul... unworried in the face of death. Yet the mind of that same individual would only be further damaged from it.
