Nakakaramdam ka na ba ng malamig na hangin sa iyong likod? Marahil, hindi mo lang napapansin, pero may mga matang nakatingin sa'yo-mula sa kadiliman, mula sa mga dimensyong hindi mo alam na umiiral. Handa ka na bang tumapak sa isang lagusan ng mga kuwentong hindi mo inaasahan? Mga kwentong maghahatid sa'yo ng takot, kilabot, at magpapaisip kung ang mga nilalang na ito ay totoo o bunga lang ng imahinasyon.

Sa librong ito, sasamahan ka ng iba't ibang kwento ng mga nilalang na nagtatago sa mga anino, mga boses na bumubulong sa iyong tenga kapag mag-isa ka, at mga pangitain ng mundong lampas sa ating naiintindihan. Bawat kuwento, maikli pero matalim-gaya ng isang hiwang bigla kang magugulat, at iiwan ka nitong nakakabitin at naguguluhan. Baka ito'y mga kwentong naranasan mo na, o mararanasan mo pa lang.
