This is a parable which many of us may be able to identify with, because there be some who have been in the same straits as the young vigneron, and there be many more who may have at any one time been like the foolish Landlord, the envious Wisewoman, the apathetic wisewoman's apprentice, the crooked Elder Vignerons and the undiscerning Mayor.

This is a story about individuals trying to make peace with the lives that they lived. It's a dark, depressing story with some humor beats here and there. It does tell of suicide and other sensitive topics. Told in hopefully a respectful way. The idea was for this to help me sort through my past and help my present state of mind. Hopefully this might help at least one other in the same way.

*Completed* Virgil doesn't know it, but he's the son of Lucifer. After his caring mother is killed in a horrible car crash that should have killed Virgil as well, his father realizes that Heavens angels are trying to send Virgil back to Hell despite him not doing anything bad. Virgil is sent to his Uncle Patton's place to live and goes to a new school. There he meets an annoying kid who somehow befriends him, but little does he know the kid was sent by his father to protect him. The religious parts of this story is based loosely (very loosely) around christianity. Pairings will be prinxiety, logicality, and demus, if it's not your jam that's fine you don't need to read. There will be trigger warnings at the beginning of every chapter that will include cursing, death and blood. The main characters belong to Thomas Sanders on YouTube, only the side characters are mine.
