A French family is on a regular tourist trip to Chamonix, and on its way it gets into a traffic accident. It happens that in the car there are two twin girls, aged five years, Bella and Lisa. They survive the accident. Unfortunately, Lisa suffers a disfigurement that almost occupies half of her face, while Bella survived with minor injuries, and they become  orphans.
