Historical romance comedy with amnesia and smut ♡When Miss Darcy Debooba attends the Buxley Ball, she encounters a beautiful man who enchants and beguiles the entire ballroom. Unfortunately, the gentleman in question is as flippant and vain like a saucy teapot, with the attitude to boot! Lord Frederick is drawn to Miss Debooba like a moth to a flame, however the lady clearly loathes him! She even went as far to say, he was NOT the most beautiful being at the Buxley Ball! (༎ຶ￢༎ຶ) When a freak accident occurs during the house party of the season, Lord Frederick suffers amnesia and loses all his memories. Darcy uses this to her advantage to prank the poor man into humility, although she never bargained for her heart to get thrown onto the line...♡

Reading P&P, Mr Darcy's feelings seem rather acute, but do not get much attention. This story explores them from the moment just after his rejection, to beyond his actual marriage. The action follows P&P exactly, but some secondary characters, most notably Georgiana and Mrs Younge, push the boundaries of Miss Austen's description. The style of writing diverges from hers ever more.

Miss Benning is very rich but very unconventional and so is shunned by London society. Mr. Donal is about to lose his family's home to an Uncle he doesn't know. Set in early 1800s England it is a story of love, loss, regret and redemption. My nod to Jane Austen.
