Stanley and The Narrator, a pair never made to last. Creator and creation. "Let's go back just once and give Stanley one more run of the office, Then I'll retire him for good." Stanley found himself desperately attempting to extend this last run of his as much as he could but ultimately couldn't escape from the end after all. The end of the parable and the end of his life chased him relentlessly. And he was going to run out of breath. He awoke one day to sand and sky and the sun gliding over him. ---------------------- This is not going to include any romance, (unless you look closely ig) BUT hear me out, this is an emotional rollercoaster through the path I'm pretty sure most players go through. Just told in a dramatic pre release au Stanley and Narrator thing. Where Stanley - a real person- had helped the narrator cover all corners of the game and create new endings. Hanahaki Disease is a fictional disease in which the victim coughs up flower petals when they suffer from one-sided love. It ends when the beloved returns their feelings (romantic love only; strong friendship is not enough), or when the victim dies. It can be cured through surgical removal, but when the infection is removed, the victim's romantic feelings for their love also disappear. Henry didn't think he'll be coughing up flowers for someone, but after falling in love with someone that he knows will never return his feelings...until one day, he coughed up a flower.
