Nora Kane was drowning on dry land. All her life, she'd been thrown from foster home to foster home. Some of them were at least okay. Others...not so much.

When Nora has decided that she'd seen enough cornfields to last her the rest of her life, she applied for a foreign exchange student program to Bondi Beach, the largest beach in Australia. After all, what can be better than a change in scenery and a very stable home?

Mouse is ready for a change in his life. Lifeguarding has always been his dream job, and owning a flat right next to the beach where he works is also pretty great. But he's lonelier than he thought he would be, and it's time for someone new to step into the scene. Maybe a foreign exchange student is exactly what he needs.
