"Rafe?" she gulps and says my name between ragged breaths. Yes, say my name and ask me what you really want.
"Mmm?" The words get stuck in my throat and my eyes don't leave her mouth. Kiss me, kiss me, kiss me.
"Look me in the eyes when I'm talking to you." That brings me back to reality, I raise my gaze and I can notice those challenging eyes, burning like fire seeing into my soul. And I like it.
"Don't tell me what to do." I spit and she tilts her head to the side without removing those eyes that challenge me, that tell me without the need for words that no matter what I say, she has me in the palm of her hand.

Being part of two worlds is not as complicated as it seems. Suddenly, lying becomes like second nature and you begin to fracture into two versions of yourself that you don't even understand.
It would just be a year of torture until I could get back to my friends, back to being a Pogue.

it's a no brainer
takes place after the events of season 1 (edit: I wrote this way before season 2 or 3 came out so yuh) It's been a month since John B and Sarah have been pronounced dead. No bodies were found which gives them the smallest sliver of hope. But hope of what? That their friends somehow survived that deadly storm? That their bodies are still floating around somewhere in the Pacific? There is no hope anymore. John B, their best friend, is dead. There's nothing more to it. He's dead and so is Sarah. Coming to terms with this has been one of the hardest and single most heartbreaking thing any of the pogues have had to deal with.
