thats all that the moon and star sanses have been doing all due to inks greed and constant need to fight for no known reason
swap, a regular monster with no goddly like abilitys unlike his teamates ink, a creator of AUS and Dream, the gaurdian and god of positvity,
both gods are powerfull and swap feels pressured to compare to their strength and powerful attributes , adding onto inks constant pressuring and urging him to be a better and stronger version of himself and to put more work into the team and stop 'slacking' as much as he is...
all this pressuring and constant nagging for him to be better has a large and noticeable toll on his mental health and all his wills , causig him to take alot of substances to try 'boost' him up and encorage him to go on more better than how he was currently doing.

In this multiverse, the world is based on two powerful things. Some may say Hope, others may say Love, some people even might say that nothing does, and it's our actions that control the world. And, while they aren't wrong, there are two beings that control this certain multiverse, whether they like it or not. They are Fate, and Destiny. These are things that no one can control, That also Includes our wonderful Creator. Ink is someone that many people look up to. Those people may be his friends, for his courage and kindness, the council, for his commanding aura and power, and even the bad sans, even if it's merely because of his ability to beat them every time. No matter who you are, it's one thing they can all agree on; that Ink is powerful, that he is strongest being in the multiverse, and even with all of this power, He is a kind, and hopeful SOUL. But they are wrong. Ink certainly isn't the most powerful, not compared to his mother and her allies, and he certainly isn't hopeful- or Kind. Because Ink doesn't have a SOUL, so there is no place for him to feel Hope or Kindness. Of course, he used to have a SOUL, but that is merely a distant memory in his short life of fourteen years.
