Serpents and Heart Stones

Ophelia Everlid was born to a prominent pureblood wizard family from Romania, known for their research of magical beasts. Born with a rare and unnamed genetic disorder (Griscelli syndrome type 3) that cause her hair to prematurely turn grey at a very young age and a few other health issues, she never did quite fit in, often the target of bullies. The harsh treatment she received only got worse when her magic never awakened around her 11th birthday. Believing herself to be a squib, she feared she would never get to attend Hogwarts school of Witchcraft and Wizardry. With only her family ties and her heart stone, an enchanted stone pendent she received at the age of three from her parents, she was prepared to enter the muggle world wholly alone. But in the spring of her 15th year her magic suddenly awoken with blast, quite literally, she soon received the letter she had been wait for all her life.

It has been almost two years since starting Hogwarts as Fifth Year student, watching her best friend spiral down a dark unforgivable path he may never recover from, and Ophelia stopping a goblin uprising a lead by a power hungry leader who after a powerful magic she had the ability to wield. She Found herself on her seventh and final year at the school. After an uneventful sixth school year, she thought she was done with the fighting and blood. But she soon found herself very wrong when a new threat entered the fray. A Powerful foe who is deranged and out for her blood. Now she has to decided to fight this battle alone to protect those she love, or allow their aid to succeed.
