Cole has felt certain things for Kai since he first saw him. Not knowing what it was, he shoved it away for years. But when Lloyd comes to convince him to come back after Zane's death, the feelings spark up again, and they keep following him through it all, Elemental Championship, Ghosts, Time Travellers, Crazy Princesses, Snake Sorceress, Evil Video Games, Merpeople, and even Lord Garmadon himself. What will come from this all, will he get to grow old with his friends?
(Note from Author: this is a self indulgent rewrite of the whole series, starting at season 4, including the Day of the departed special and decoded. I also posted this on AO3 already, I'll be posting every chapter I've posted there a bit after.)

Cole and Jay's fairytale romance
(After the events of season 13 and I repeat not a bruise ship they are just both really good friends) The ninja decided they wanted to explore Ninjago a bit before returning home. During their travels they come across a island that was something out of a fairytale. Cole likes it because maybe that means he can finally find a way to get Kai to be his boyfriend. Princess Vania had given him flirting advice, but none of it seemed to work. Cole knew Kai was bi and just really hoped he could find a way to get Kai to feel the same way he did. Jay liked the place okay because he saw it as the perfect opportunity to make it up to Nya after the whole munce queen issue. Sadly though the peaceful fairytale like land suddenly becomes very dangerous when a evil fairytale creature kidnaps the two siblings and it's mostly up to Cole and Jay to rescue them. Hear me out... Here, Brad from Darkly's School for Bad Children also got affected by the ageing tea, the same time Lloyd did. Don't ask me how, I have no logic. Ships- Llrad = Lloyd x Brad (idk if there's an actual ship name) Lava = Cole x Kai Jaya = Jay x Nya Pixane = Zane x P.I.X.A.L. I DON'T OWN NINJAGO IN ANY WAY SHAPE OR FORM. A lot of the lines are from the actual series because I'm unoriginal and I have no ideas. I'm creative but very unoriginal. The art isn't mine either. I just found it on Pinterest. Enjoy! This is my first fanfic so please don't hate it in comments or anything, just leave it if you don't like it. Kai gets sick, and even though he is the master of fire, a fever drastically overcomes him. Causing headaches, and outburst of fire, it's not any normal illness. What happens then? Will his mind get warped from all this? Who will find him first? Someone takes advantage of this and will do everything to get what they want, but who's leading them? __This does have some Lavashipping towards the end, so please be aware of that if it makes you uncomftorable. __This also goes off the script a bit from the fever, just focusing on aftermaths. 🎉*Completed*🎊 Kai have been holding a huge family serect from others. He was never treated right by his father as he went threw a lot of painful "training" exercises so he can become stronger. He was only loved by his mother and sister but even then his mother had secrets. What Would happen if the ninja found out more about Kai then meets the eye?
