This should be fun, right? After all, who better to spill the tea on demons than a demon who spends his days prowling the dark corners of the underworld? You've got questions about demons, and I've got answers-just don't ask me to sugarcoat anything. I'm here to tell it like it is, and things can get a bit gnarly in my world.

I might not look like much at first glance-just a short demon with a lashing tail-but don't let that fool you. No one knows what happens to those who the demon chooses, but there's a lot of theories about it. One is that the demon eats or absorbs those who are chosen - another, that it kills them. But this year, I'm the one who's chosen. I get to meet the demon I've feared since I was a child, and now that I'm 24, and am considered an adult, I could have left the village behind. But I didn't. Something inside me told me to stay. Now, I'm going to die. I just know it. I can't leave now, or run away, because the town would be unprotected for a whole year, and that's where my family lives. I don't know what to do, but I'm sure I'll think of something. Besides, how bad can this demon be if they're guarding our town?
