This story is about a girl named Allison Bleu who is a new student going to high school after her dad died to meet more people. There's a guy named Aaron Drift, he's in Allisons Chemistry class, and they end out to be partners for their project. The story is called 'Started With a Whisper' because their love started with him asking her to borrow something. After her dad died, music was the only thing to help her cope with it. At school she meets her friend since childhood, Emma.

Why do bad things happen to good people? A question that his boy is making himself more then ever this days. From the beginning we see a 17 year old boy, struggling to finish high School, filled up with insecurities, mental health issues, a toxic family home, and impossible standards to live up to. He has learn to not only hate his life, but to want finish it off as fast as possible. Close to finally graduating high school his English teacher, Mr Steve, assigns the class a special progect. "To be able to see life through different eyes, and write about it." For this, Mr Steve gets his class to assist a hospital 3 times a week, and assigns each student, with a patient. This is the moment where this boy meets Royal, a cancer sick 17 year old girl, that has lived in a hospital her hole life, but still finds beauty and meaning in it. Through out the report the boy gets more and more involved in Royal's life, spending unfortunately moments together. But through out the journey he asks himself more and more.
