Park Ranger Marco Castillo has always felt a deep connection to the wilderness. From the howl of the wind to the rustle of the leaves, the forest has always felt like home. Especially the preserve. The wolves never cared what he was, they only cared about living their own survival. That's why when he gets a call about an injured wolf being spotted, Marco can't help but head out to track it down.

Problem is, he finds more than just an injured wolf. He finds a corpse. A human corpse. The sheriff is quick to blame the mans death on the wolves - leaving the park to band together to try and defend their pack. Not just from worried townsfolk, but also an organization known only as The Registry.

Marco hopes everything will blow over soon. But when he's bitten by a mysterious and savage creature while on nightly patrol, he realizes that his connection to nature goes far deeper than he ever imagined.
