Will he find a way home to a galaxy that sees his kind as a slave to be exploited? Or will he forge a new home, and maybe even.... a new life?

The following story is a work in progress. I am actively writing new chapters and reworking old ones at the same time to form a coherent narrative. What this means is that I have to ask that you bear with me as certain elements and or mechanics of the story are re written, updated or even removed in the worst-case scenario. I try to keep major details set in stone.

This is a prequel to my other story known as Futuristic world (Furry x human). I HIGHLY recommend reading that story first before this one, otherwise this story will make zero sense at all. Until one day where the downward spiral for both Conner and Dome begins. Conner loses his last bit of family left.. his daughter.. to a mysterious killer who manages to hide his trace. Conner, now seeking any kind of closure, loses his mind. Finally reaching a breaking point and blaming Dome for everything. Threatening to kill him for what he had done. Dome, despite feeling guilty, doesn't give up hope. He will do what the police couldn't, and find whoever killed the daughter of who used to be his best friend, but is now hunting him all around Night Glow City, and never stopping until Dome is dead. After I suddenly died I possessed the body of what I thought was an extra within a novel. From then on my life was mostly calm, though not fulfilling. Until one day I discovered I wasn't just a background figure; instead I was an insignificant character who'd end up being the villainous Grand Duke's secretary, only to die shortly after being near him! Though that smile did not reach his eyes at all. "One, don't resign and stay here forever..." His gaze was enough to unnerve me. "Two, let me kill those who dared to give you the idea of resigning...then don't go and stay here forever." Then you started working your magic and you cosy up to the male lead who was supposed to get you killed or you make the demon lord fall in love with you so he can protect you from your imminent death. And woah you got your happy ending. But now let's imagine a completely different scenario where you end up in a book you read like 10 pages of (including the ending). And you find yourself literally dropped into the lap of a psychopathic rival who enjoys just a teeny bit of bloodshed. He's also the guy who killed your favourite character and not to mention you. But then you hold on for a second because you realise you're not dead and he wants to use you as an immortal tool to sharpen his aim. Well that's the story I ended up living in. And I've got one request from Mr. Villain over there, please spare me!
