The United Nations Climate Change Stabilization department was created in 2037 to lead the way in global attempts to reverse the effects of climate change and be the central unit that would record and disseminate information on the global phenomenon here thereafter called the Storm Season.
Dr. Clara Oswin is trying to change the world by travelling across North America her storm-chasing trailer. But the world has already changed and maybe it's all too late.

Global warming is a huge problem for the world, and it's increasing by the day.... Even in Ohio. The winters, which are supposed to be freezing, are as hot as it would be down south.
