What would happen if Feyre didn't kill Andras? What would have happened if she never went across the wall to Prythian? What if Amarantha was defeated by the other High Lords and her curse was broken? What if everything was different? How would the story change if none of that happened, but instead the world of A Court Of Thorns And Roses was disrupted by a girl falling right into it from the modern world?

Dropped in a completely new territory and not having a clue where she is, Rayne has to navigate to find a form of salvation before the creatures in the forest find her first. Desperate to find some form of help as to where she's landed, Rayne steps out on her own into the world she's only read about on paper.

But what happens when the court Rayne lands in finds out that a human has crossed into their territory? When Rayne finally finds out where she is and the story she's landed into, she has to play her cards right not to make any enemies. And when she runs across a particular court's inner circle and their High Lord, Rayne has to do her best to blend in and not draw suspension to herself.

Could this journey lead to her demise or perhaps something she thought she'd never experience? An adventure? Friendships? Maybe...love?

Follow Rayne on her journey to through the world of high fae, Illyrian warriors, and High Lords throughout this story.

Hello, everyone! Thank you so much for giving this book a chance. Keep in mind, there are things about this story that will be different in terms of plot. This is more or less an AU version of the ACOTAR series.

The character's backstories along with a bulk of their personalities will stay the same as Sarah J. Maas created them. The only thing I'm changing/creating is the plot with Rayne now thrown into their world.

All the characters and their stories, besides my OCs and my plot line, belong to Sarah J. Maas.

Thank you! Enjoy!

Two years have passed since Mikael Anik and Estelle Marzena survived the Illyrian Blood Rite and were mated. They've finally settled into their new life together, back in the Dawn Court. However, the peace they've known thus far is almost at an end. For months, Estelle has suffered nightmares of the events that took place on Ramiel, and they are growing worse with each day that her questions remain unanswered. It is time for the mystery to be unraveled, but what will it cost to do so? There is more at stake now than either of them could have imagined. Are they facing an isolated threat, or is it possible that some ancient foe lurks within Prythian's borders, waiting for her chance to strike? One year ago, Prythian suffered an attack at the hands of the necromancer, Melantha. She was ultimately defeated, but the marks of her terrible influence still remain in the memories and on the bodies of her victims. Wynter, Heir to the Winter Court, bears many of those marks. Unable to live with himself after what happened on the island Inmortui, Wynter chose to go into seclusion and face his lingering trauma alone. Regardless of his attempts to isolate himself, there are those who refuse to abandon him, no matter how badly he wishes they would. Elodie Rohese has carried a fondness towards Wynter since she first met him, just before he was kidnapped by Melantha. She refuses to leave him alone in his isolation, and instead, visits his home frequently, even though he never admits her. Despite her uncle's wrath and prejudices, Elodie continues to reach out to Wynter. When circumstances finally drive Wynter to answer her, they are both swept into a storm of unresolved trauma and unacknowledged romance. Together, they can weather the storm, but apart, it will only break them. Disclaimer: I do not own the ACOTAR series or the characters and places therein.
