A mistake by Nakime leads to Muzan's death without the hashiras falling into the infinity castle. As a result, the five left behind Upper Moons have to live without Muzan (noone's sad :D) but instead with the frightening realization that Muzan hadn't just taken away their memories (and humanity) : he also took away their legacy. Each of them tries to find it again - but along the way they find so much more than just a legacy...
But not just the Upper Moons are searching for a ... more refilling life (???) - Lots of things changed after Muzans death along the Demon Slayers. Nezuko struggles with the time she lost, memories who slowly come back, filled with horror she didn't realize. Demon Slayers, realizing demons are not dead, getting pushed back into their dangerous fight of death or life against the demons.
Mysterious letters delivered by a magpie called Sakura only worsen the chaos...
And hidden from the views of both demons and demon slayers, a dangerous force gathers power...
